Gregory has had an interest in art and photography since a very early age; with an artist’s eye, he has always had an appreciation for beautiful things.  He has a keen awareness that beauty is in the eye of the beholder so identifying beauty that is acceptable to everyone is an unobtainable feat.  Accepting that as a fact allowed me to focus on creating art that is beautiful and pleasing to me.  If others like it too, then that would be wonderful.

While some of my artistic influences are greats like Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, Wassily Kandinsky, and Larry Poons in the art world, Ansel Adams, Berenice Abbott, and Ernst Haas in the world of photography.  These artists is where I draw my inspiration, however, I take pains to try to never emulate the greats.  It is important to me that I create in the moment; through the relationship that I have built with the God of my understanding, who I believe works through me.

My paintings are, mostly, in the abstract style while my photography is, mostly, the beauty of nature, yet sometimes there is still an abstract bent to it.
